Creating art with watercolor can be easy! I like to sometimes look google for ideas and inspiration. Today I searched for Whale pictures and came across a really cool whale under a boat and decided that was what I wanted to try.
I taped off the edges of the paper and pencil sketched the boat an whale. I kept layering on the watercolor paint and then used a fine tip brush for more detail until I felt great about the outcome.
I love the way this piece turned out. Using a reference can be a game changer! I hope you have fun creating your next masterpiece!
